What Kind of Work do you do at Hemminger Law Group Westshore?

I assist clients with Family Law issues navigate the choppy legal waters towards a final resolution so that they can move on with their beautiful lives!


If there is one lesson you learned as a young person that you would like to pass on to others, what would that be?

Pain and suffering is inevitable and is temporary. The cliché holds true, “what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger”, so have courage and keep going!


What is your home town?

The Big Nickel – Sudbury, Ontario


What do you love most about Langford and the Westshore?

There is so much to love, but if I had to pick one thing, it would be the fantastic people! The community spirit is alive and well here and I feel blessed to be a part of it.


Where are your top 3 favourite places and how come?

1. Italy – because ITALY! I have always felt at home in this beautiful and unique country.  The people are warm and vivacious. So is their music, cuisine, landscape, style, and the rest of it.  Italy has a big place in my heart.

2. Tel Aviv, Israel – because of the wonderful lifelong friendships I have made there and because it symbolizes, to me, a beacon of hopeful possibilities.

3. Manitoulin Island, Ontario – “Spirit Island” – there is a unique energy to this beautiful freshwater Island located on the Georgian Bay and whenever I am there, all of my troubles dissolve on its shores.


Outside of the legal profession, what is your passion?

Learning. I love learning about advancements in physics, technology, science, health, the environment, philosophy, music, and all of the arts. I enjoy participating to the extent possible in the positive creativity of the human spirit.


How do you deliver your more as a part of the more than your ordinary law firm family?

I genuinely care about each and every client. Their concerns are my concerns and I do my utmost to advance their claims while also giving them practical advice.
